Tomo: This Western-style house is quite refined. Where ever you look, it doesn't bore you and it keeps your piqued. 

 

Tsubasa: I agree. Even if I'm just here for work-related issues, I still feel quite excited about sleeping in this environment. 

 

Tomo: Aaa .. but I wouldn't be too hopeful

 

Ryuuji: What do you mean by "hopeful"?

 

Tomo:  Hehe ... haven't the two of you heard? About the stories of ghosts residence in these kinds of buildings? 

Historical buildings are famous to have some ghosts show up .. or so is what believed. 

In the UK, there are plenty of these kinds of stories as if people are proud of having a ghost in their houses. 

 

Tsubasa: Oh really? Is that so.

 

Ryuji: * frowns * I would be pleased if ghosts can just get out of the house. Here in Japan, people would be scared and simply move away.

 

Tomo: Over there, they don't seem to find ghosts scary. In fact, they consider them a curiosity intellectual being as they don't have a form and just moves things around. I also feel the same as they do. 

So spending Halloween in an old Western house, don't you believe something will happen? Consider that Halloween is supposed to be the day where the door of the underworld is open to the living, we might see something. 

 

Tsubasa: The door opens, huh? 

 

Tomo: Yes, on this day, the souls of the dead who have been rejuvenated, without going to heaven or hell they get to return home and spend time with their families. It is known as All Souls' Day. At the same time, some demons will lure and deceive others to force open the door.

 

Ryuuji: Tomo, you seem to enjoy this. 

 

Tomo: Hehe ... Well, I've visited many countries and places, but so far I haven't encounter spirits or ghosts yet. If it happens to be one here, I would love to meet them. 

 

Ryuuji: Seriously ... you're so strange as usual .... but wait, I've got an idea! 

 

Tomo: What is it, Ryuuji?

 

Ryuuji: Hey, Tomo. If you really want to see a ghost that badly, why don't you try and catch one? 

 

Tomo: Wha-, can you really do that? 

 

Ryuuji: Of course, I'll tell you how to do it. Tsubasa, do you have a paper and pen? 

 

Tsubasa: Ah, yes. Here it is. 

 

Ryuuji: Thank you. Like this ... if you prepare a stick and a string and attached like this, it should do the trick. Sounds easy but difficult. Tsubasa: Eh?!

 

Ryuuji: You can go check the kitchen maybe they have it. We only need a stick and a string. If not, you go to the staff.

 

Tsubasa: Um, Ryuuji-kun...

 

Ryuuji: Hehe, don't be so worried. I'll reveal the truth at an appropriate time so leave him to me. Don't you have a meeting to attend to? 

 

Tsubasa: Y-Yeah...

Ryuuji: Yep. Hold it firmly and careful not to lose it or this setup will fail. 

 

Tomo: Got it. I have got to be careful...

 

Mika: You two sure have some strange taste to try catching a ghost. 

 

Ryuuji: Oh yea, Mika? You're sticking with us mean you're just as curious, aren't you?

 

Mika: Well, actually there is nothing much to do. 

 

Hikaru: I am super excited! .... oh, but what if is some bloody ghost appears?

 

Tomo: Ahaha, I won't be troubled by it.

 

Ryuuji: By the way, Tomo, why did you place a cake with it?

 

Tomo: Don't you think we need some bait? I thought it was a good idea... Consider we are dealing with Halloween ghost, I thought it may want some sweet so I asked the staff to prepare it too.

Mika: Can ghost even eat cake?

Ryuuji: I'm not sure, I can't see anything from here... could it be your imagination? 

 

Tomo: But, I'm certain just now--

 

Yuta: Waaaa, a delicious looking cake! Can I eat this?

 

Ryuuji: Yuta? W-W-Wait...

 

Yuta: Ittadakimasu! 

 

Tomo: There it goes... hehe, it doesn't seem like a ghost I caught but a Yuta.

 

Yuta: Huh? Tomo-kun? What it is? What it is? Could it be, are you shooting right now? Did I just got pranked?

Yuta: Whaat! So that was supposed to be used to catch ghosts!?

 

Tomo: That's right. Ryuuji told me this is a Japanese custom they used to do in ancient times. 

 

Yuta: So that's how it is~ Sounds interesting!

 

Ryuuji: But seriously Yuta, you can't just go around eating whatever you see on the floor. Don't you think a cake in a hallway is suspicious?

 

Yuta: Ehehe, I thought it was a new shooting or a prank or something. Say, a ghost can be caught? 

 

Tomo: It looks like it was just around the corner... the cake moved a little before Yuta came. 

 

Yuta: Huh? Really? I'm sorry for disturbing...

 

Tomo: Don't think about it. It's fine. 

 

Yuta: Let us try again then! I'll go get the cake! 

 

Tomo: Thank you, Yuta. 

 

Yuta: Yooooshi! I'll do my best~! 

 

Hikaru: ...... Yuutan, is he serious? 

 

Ryuuji: Okay, Yuta seems to be so into this. This is going to be messy.

 

Mika: I have come to believe that the prince is no longer enjoying this situation. 

 

Hikaru: Eh? So this is all a lie?

 

Ryuuji: Oh, so you notice it too, Mika? I thought as well halfway through. Now that Yuta comes along, my timing to come forth has been spoiled. What do I do?

Yuta: I'll go get more cake from the staff! Tomo-kun can just watch over here while I go fetch it!
